What is it
At EHIRC, there is a fleet of five well- equipped MCCU (Mobile Coronary Care Unit), available 24 hours in a day. Each ambulance is a mini - coronary care unit in itself, with on- board ventilation, a defibrillator, a cardiac monitor, and an IABP.

Why is it done?
The most crucial and important time after a heart attack, is the initial first hour. Majority of deaths occur prior to or on the way to the hospital. Our fully equipped ambulance ensures a smooth transition from the house to the hospital in a safe environment.

Please call 6825002, 6825003 or extns. 4000 / 4001 at 6825000 (Auto attendant) / 6825001 (operator) for booking.


Tariff
The charges of ambulances are Rs. 40/- per km inside Delhi.
For calls outside Delhi, it is advisable to contact the above numbers to determine the approximate cost and logistics.
