How is it done?
A small incision on the right front side (under breast, making it invisible after it has healed) of the chest is made. Then, cardio - pulmonary bypass, i.e. connecting to the heart lung machine, is instituted through the femoral vessels in the groin and with the help of special instruments, valve replacement or ASD closure can be performed .
