Bypass surgery (MIDCAB)
What Why How When Before After/Followup

How is it done?
A team of surgeons performs coronary artery bypass surgery. The operation takes about 3 hours and is done under general anesthesia. A small cut is made in the lower half of the chest through which surgeon first detaches the LIMA and then sews it to the LAD beyond the block, thus restoring the blood flow.
