Respiratory disorders are very common in the community. Heart & lung disorders have many common presentation and co-exist very frequently.
Respiratory medicine or Pulmonology department serves to manage patients suffering from various disorders of lungs like Asthma, COPD, TB, pneumonia, Intestinal lung diseases, lung cancers, birth defects of lungs, sleep disorders, snoring etc.

ADVANCED PULMONARY FUNCTION TEST LABORATORY OFFERS SPIROMETERY

  • Assess lung function such as Airflow Rates within lung during normal and forced breathing to assess the degree of obstruction or restriction of lungs.
  • Diffusion Test
  • Assess the function of lung working as gas exchange organ i.e. from air to blood.
  • Lung Capacity Test
  • Assess the volume & capacities of lung.

BRONCHOSCOPY
Fiber optic flexible bronchoscopy is used to view airways inside the lungs with help of flexible tube like camera. This instrument is used to see, take specimens & biopsy, and for interaction treatments inside airways of the lungs.
